Joanna Ramirez, MD

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Joanna Ramirez.  She will be joining us on August 23, 2010!

Dr. Ramirez hails from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX where she completed her Internal Medicine / Pediatric Residency.  Her Medical degree was completed in 2006 at University of South Florida, College of Medicine in Tampa, FL.   She also has received her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology / Psychology, Suma Cum Laude in 2002 from Rollins College, Winter Park, FL.

Dr. Ramirez has received many academic / clinical honors including Clinical Excellence in Internal Medicine, Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society, and Arnold P. Gold Award for Humanism in Medicine.  She is an active member in numerous Honorary / Professional Societal Affiliations including Texas Pediatric Society Resident, American College of Physicians, and American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Women’s Association, and American Medical Association.

Dr. Ramirez’s hobbies include traveling, snorkeling, playing the piano, mountain biking, reading, and spending time with her husband and son.
